About Linus
What’s more fun than feeding a hungry crocodile?!?
Linus helps children more readily understand the purpose of cutting on the line as scissors are easily transformed into a hungry crocodile.
As a pediatric occupational therapist, Mary has worked in both clinic practice and school settings. While working with children in both settings, she noticed recurring themes affecting scissor skills development and began to address them using the foundational concepts included in the Linus program with success.
Children who had experienced difficulty with fine-motor skills in the past were much more receptive to helping feed a hungry crocodile…and from there, Linus was born.
Since then, Linus has gained following in classrooms and households throughout the U.S., and is even gaining recognition internationally. For children with or without special needs, Linus makes learning scissor skills fun!
